In response the opioid epidemic, Cara 2.0 S. 2456 builds on the original CARA (2016) by increasing funding authorization levels, implementing policy changes, and authorizing $1 billion in dedicated resources to evidence-based prevention, enforcement, treatment, and recovery programs.
