The Change Book: A Blueprint for Technology Transfer
(The Change Book) was developed by the Addiction
Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) National Office
and the former ATTC Practice Committee.
The Change Book includes Principles, Steps, Strategies
and Activities for achieving effective change. The
Principles are required elements necessary for
successful technology transfer, and the Steps are a
guide to effectively creating and implementing a
change plan. While the Strategies provide specific
guidelines for working with individuals, groups and
multiple levels within your organization,
the Activities are actual tasks that can be used
throughout the process to affect knowledge, skills
and attitudes – ultimately creating behavior change (ATTC, 2010).
