Webinar: Teaching Positive Mental Health and Resilience

Mental and emotional well-being is critical to overall health. By educating teens on developing healthy coping skills, you can set them up for success in dealing with stress and challenging circumstances and reduce their chances of exploring substance use as an alternative.
Learn how you can get involved in National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW) 2021 and hear about NIDA’s new mental health activity, which is mapped to National Health Education Standards. Registrants will need to create a free Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) America account. There is no cost to participate in the webinar.
To register, use the following steps:
- Click on the “Sign In” link in the upper right corner of the screen.
- If you already have a SHAPE America account, proceed with logging in. If you do not yet have an account, click on the “Create Non-Member Account” link on the right side of the screen. It’s free to register!
- Once logged in, you will see the NDAFW webinar as a tile on the screen. Click on the webinar.
- Click on “Launch” and you will receive an email confirming your registration.
