Hanging Out or Hooking Up: Highlighting a Virtual In Their Shoes Interactive Simulation
Training Overview:
Join the Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (NCEDSV) in efforts to increase awareness of Teen Dating Violence for a virtual two-part series focused on adolescent relationship abuse and promoting healthy relationships.
Session One: Discusses strategies to support adolescents and shares resources appropriate for advocates, educators, and other professionals working with young adults in abusive relationships and wanting to promote healthy relationships.
Guest presenter: Serena Evans, Policy Coordinator, NCEDSV.
Session Two: This session features an interactive simulation, entitled In Their Shoes. This engaging virtual activity focuses on the participant using their decision making skills to resolve real-life situations involving adolescent relationship abuse.
