The Division of Public and Behavioral Health will hold a public workshop on June 8, 2022, to consider amendments to Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) Chapter 433. The proposed regulations are being moved forward in accordance with Senate Bill (SB) 69 of the 81st (2021) Session.

  • How a person that is aggrieved by a decision of the Division relating to the imposition of a civil monetary penalty pursuant to the provisions of the proposed regulations, may file an appeal of the Division’s decision.
  • The civil monetary penalties that may be imposed against any person or entity that fails to comply with the requirements of Section 8 or Section 15.6 of SB 69.
  • The process for an employee or independent contractor described in subsection 1 of Section 15.6 of SB 69, who has had a substantiated report of child abuse or neglect or a violation of NRS 201.540, 201.560, 392.4633 or 394.366, to petition the Division to continue to provide or supervise the provision of peer recovery support services and have regular and substantial contact with minors despite the substantiated report.
