Nevada Peer Supervision Training and Certification provided by Foundation for Recovery
The purpose for this course is to train individuals who will be supervising peer recovery support specialists in clinical and non-clinical settings; to provide guidance and support and promote competent and ethical delivery of peer services.
Why Become a Certified Peer Supervisor?
In 2021, Senate Bill 69 (SB69) was passed in Nevada. Among other provisions, the law now requires anyone providing peer support services to become state certified through the Nevada Certification Board. The law also requires anyone who supervises individuals providing peer support become certified as an approved supervisor.
