The 2 – 2 1/2 hour Gatekeeper training increases one’s knowledge and understanding of suicide, to recognize warning signs, to identify risk and protective factors, and to increase willingness and ability to intervene with a person at risk for suicide. This training will provide insight for interacting with survivors and identify referral resources. Gatekeeper has been approved for Continuing Education Units by the Dept. of Education, POST, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Psychological Examiners, Social Workers, and SNHD. Nurses, CPC/MFTs, ADGCs may apply Social Workers CEUs toward their license requirements.
