October is ADHD Awareness Month
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting both children and adults around the globe. ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) is a serious public health issue.
The mission of ADHD Awareness Month is to educate the public about ADHD by disseminating reliable information based on the evidence of science and peer-reviewed research.
ADHS Awareness Month is brought to you by the ADHDAwarenessMonth.org coalition which includes: ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO), the professional membership organization for ADHD coaches; The Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), the world’s leading adult ADHD organization; and Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), the leading resource on ADHD providing support, training, education and advocacy for the 17 million children and adults in the United States living with ADHD, their families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
